CAPABILITES

FM's projects are achieve by utilizing the best employees, practices and equipment. We fabricate all of our part geometries in house and can cut, bend and roll sheet metal, round tubing, square tubing and solid stock.

Welding

FM's welding capabilities include the following types of welding process:
-GMAW (Mig)
-Tig
-SMAW (Stick/Arc). We offer in house and field services.
We can apply these to mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and cast iron. 

Field Services

We install, fabricate and repair any job needed outside the shop. If your project requires being installed after fabrication and paint we will be there to get it done. Our field service team has experience in all handrail, catwalk, irritation systems, fencing and other repair work just to name a few. 

Break Press

Our Cincinnati Break Press allows us to form many types and sizes of sheet metal to customer desired angles. Plate thickness capacities include:
​-Up to 5/16" thickness= 10' bend capability
-3/8" thickness= 6' bend capability
-Custom sizes and bend options available upon request

Plate and Sheet Metal Shear

Our shear allows us to sheer plate metal up to 3/8" thick up to 10 feet long. 

Auto Saw

If you are needing multiple pieces of tubing, pipe or stock cut to same lengths our Auto saw allows us to program the dimensions and quickly process those cuts. 

Iron Worker

FM has the capabilities to punch and nip material up to 3/4" thick with various hole sizes ranging from 1/8" up to 1-1/16".

Plasma Table

FM offers a variety of cutting solutions which includes our five axis plasma table. We can cut and bevel material within the following capacities: 
-Material: Stainless, Carbon, and aluminum plate
-Maximum Material Size: 5'x10'
-Maximum Material Thickness: 3 inches

PLATE ROLL

Our plate roll allows us to roll material into desired diameters allowing FM to make tanks, drums and other circular fabrication parts. Capacities include:
-Smallest diameter: 9" 
-Material thickness: Up to 1/4"
-Material width: Up to 6' wide

Angle/Tubing ROLL

The angle/tubing roll allows us to take material and create sweeps, curves and circular patterns. Machine capacities vary based on material geometry.
-Angle Iron: Up to 3" leg and 1/4" thick 
-Square/Rectangular Tubing: Up to 3" tubing and 1/4" wall thickness
-Various roll diameters: 18" and up

TUBING BENDER

Our tubing bender adds to FM's capability to form round and square tubing. We have dies for the following sizes:
-1/2"
-3/4"
-1"
-1  1/4"
-1  1/2"

Mill Room

FM utilizes two CNC mills to create unique machined geometries.
-3 and 5 axis capabilities
-Facing
-Slots
-Threading
-Most metals and other types of materials

Additonal Capabilites

FM has many types of metal fabrication machinery. Along with the above capabilities we have over head cranes (up to 6 ton lift capacity), band saws, coping sanders, pipe threaders,weld bots and weld posistioners.
